Suspending, withdrawing or reducing the scope of certification

QMI Certification have a policy and documented procedure(s) for suspension, withdrawal or reduction of the scope of certification:

Suspend certification in cases when, for example:

  • The client’s certified management/product system has persistently or seriously failed to meet certification requirements, including requirements for the effectiveness of the management system
  • the certified client does not allow surveillance or recertification audits to be conducted at the required frequencies;
  • the certified client has voluntarily requested a suspension.

*Under suspension, the client’s management/product system certification is temporarily invalid.

QMI Certification will restore the suspended certification if the issue that has resulted in the suspension has been resolved. Failure to resolve the issues that have resulted in the suspension within 6 months will result in withdrawal or reduction of the scope of certification.

QMI Certification will reduce the scope of certification to exclude the parts not meeting the requirements, when the certified client has persistently or seriously failed to meet the certification requirements for those parts of the scope of certification. Any such reduction is in line with the requirements of the standard used for certification.

Complaints, appeals and other opinions under consideration

PT. Quality Management Indonesia (QMI Certification) receives complaints, appeals and other opinions to our operations as to management systems audit, certification and registration. QMI Certification also receives complaints and other opinions for the organizations certified by QMI Certification.


Complaints and other opinions (hereinafter called complaints)

  1. complaints to QMI Certification operations such as management systems audit, certification and registration activities
  2. complaints to the organizations certified by QMI Certification

Note :

  1. Complaint shall only be accepted within the scope certified by QMI Certification. QMI Certification not accept complaints beyond the scope.
  2. Complaint for the organization must be lodged with the organization itself at the outset.
  3. QMI Certification may not be allowed to disclose specific information due to the confidential agreement with the certified organization.

Appeals

Organizations audited and/or certified by QMI Certification can call on QMI Certification to reconsider the judgment in regard to management systems audit and certification. Other parties are not in a position to file an appeal.
